“A rare one in London with great community and natural lighting.”Dhruv Kumar, LiveGrid · Google review
Three workshops in Limehouse and a cabinet shop in Bristol. Members don’t just rent a bench in one: they get into the others too, and more opens up as they move up.

Hone Limehouse · Hone Bristol early 2027
The kit you can’t keep at home, and a bench you can use at midnight.

Hone Limehouse · Hone Bristol
A fully kitted cabinet shop, without the lease, the machine finance or the maintenance.

Studios · Hone Limehouse and Hone Tottenham
Private studios and studio workshops for businesses that make, design and build, from two people to twenty. Paint the walls, put in a bench, bring your machines, fit it out the way you work. When you need more room, you move down the corridor, not across town.
What makes it Hone
Four things that hold across every building, and the reason people who find Hone tend to stay.
Kit, rooms and layouts set up the way working makers would set them up, because a working maker set them up. Named machines, not a list of perks.
More than 150 makers, designers and founders who share work, borrow skills and bring each other in on jobs. A furniture maker next to an architect next to a jeweller.
Hot Maker to a shared bench, to a private bench, to a studio, across three buildings, without leaving Hone. When you need more room you move down the corridor, not across town.
A furniture maker, a jeweller, an architect and a product engineer in the same building, and work passing between them. A studio tenant has the makers down the corridor. A bench member borrows a skill from the bench next door. Things get made here that no one of them could make alone.
Hone Workspace is Hone Limehouse and Hone Tottenham in London, and Hone Bristol in Fishponds. The same standard at every site. What changes is the place, and the price.

No. Hone is for people making a living from what they make, and people on their way there. Professional means how you work, not how long you’ve been doing it. The entry tiers welcome people starting out; the woodwork benches and the studios keep a working edge.
Book a weekly tour. Limehouse is Tuesdays at 3.30pm and Thursdays at 11.30am with Jai, Tottenham Thursdays at 10am, Bristol Thursdays at 4pm and Fridays at 10am with Austin. About twenty minutes, longer if you get talking. It’s booked the moment you choose a time, and there’s no pitch at the end.
Yes. Bench members use every workshop across our buildings after an induction. Studio tenants use the machine shops at member rates. Hot Maker members use the makerspace, with its metalwork and woodwork bench.
Most members stay for years, and some have been here since we opened in 2018. Studio tenants tend to stay longest, and it’s why woodwork benches rarely come up.
24-hour access for shared and private bench members and for studio tenants. Hot Maker hours are on the makerspace page.
Benches and studios are on a three-month minimum with two months’ deposit; studios are a rolling licence with three months’ notice. Hot Maker is rolling monthly with one month’s deposit and one month’s notice. Notice periods are in the agreement.
Yes. Every membership includes a general induction from someone who uses the machines every day. The large-format CNC needs separate training, charged on top.
